Today Airbnb is launching a new set of tools for business travelers to plan business trips and manage expenses on the road.
Through a partnership with Concur, the world’s leading provider of spend management solutions and services, business travelers who use Concur’s TripLink service will be able to book Airbnb listings directly and have their expense reports automatically pre-populated in Concur. The integrated service will be available this fall.
In addition, we’re introducing Airbnb for Work to help business travelers search and book accommodations, and easily manage their expenses. We worked closely with Salesforce and Facebook to reinvent business travel, and now more than 30 companies have already signed up to work with Airbnb, including Evernote, Eventbrite, and Lyft.
Frequent travelers have discovered ways to redefine business trips with Airbnb, and many already rely on Airbnb to meet specific business travel needs, such as accommodation for larger groups, longer stays, relocations, and meeting spaces. Nearly 10 percent of Airbnb’s customers travel for business already and we’ve heard from traveler feedback that a dedicated site that caters to business travelers’ needs has been high on their wishlist.
