You might have noticed that your Manage Listing page has a new look— it’s been updated to make it easier for you to access the features you use the most. That’s just one change we made recently to help you save time.
You’ll also find new Amenities and Spaces sections. Add details to both, and you can give potential guests a more specific, accurate depiction of your home. It’ll help them decide if your space is a good fit for their trip, and it’ll save you effort, too. You can spend more time hosting and less time responding to listing questions.
Here are seven simple steps you can take now to make the most of these updates:
1. Define your space
Is your bathroom private or shared? Is your space a boutique hotel or home? Now you can give travelers a clearer picture of your property.
2. Verify your amenities
Review the updated amenities list to make sure it reflects what your space currently offers. This is a great opportunity to make sure that any features you promise (WiFi, a hair dryer, etc.) are working and readily available to guests.
3. Add additional amenities
You used to be able to let potential guests know that you offered a kitchen. Now, you can get even more specific and let travelers know your space has everything from cooking basics (pots and pans, oil, salt and pepper) to dishes and silverware, a coffee maker, oven, and stove. Nuances like these can help your space stand out to those looking for, say, a weekend retreat where they can cook big, family meals.
4. Attract family travelers
Some 23% of all searches on Airbnb are seeking family-friendly spaces. You can stand out to this growing group of travelers by offering amenities like a bathtub, crib, even babysitter recommendations and adding them to your listing.
5. Establish logistics
Do you allow guests to drop off bags before check in? Are long-term stays allowed? Do any pets live on the property? The logistics checklist helps you make these logistics clear.
6. Help travelers with special needs
This new section helps travelers with special needs find spaces that can accommodate them comfortably. Are there grab-rails in your shower? Any steps at the entrance to your home? You can add these details here.
7. Spotlight safety
Providing things like a fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and first-aid kit can help put guests at ease. Now you can easily advertise your safety offerings right in your listing.
