Airbnb Open is our annual community gathering designed to reward and celebrate hosts. This year, we’re bringing together 6,000 hosts from over 75 countries for 3 days and 3 nights in Paris, and you can join us! It’ll be Airbnb’s biggest event ever.
Connect with others who devote time and creativity to providing amazing hospitality, and be delighted by the festival-like atmosphere. We’ll give you a well-deserved break from managing your listing with dazzling celebrations, inspiring talks, personal touches that highlight your tastes, and exciting opportunities to explore the city.
The center of activity during Airbnb Open will be 10 different venues throughout Parc de la Villette. We’re building a gigantic tent to house presentations, workshops, and performances from Cirque du Soleil. Inside the Parc’s 19th-century La Grande Halle, you’ll connect with Airbnb team members to share your ideas and offer product feedback. At the Cabaret Sauvage, covered in red velvet and carved wood, you’ll have the chance to learn from hospitality experts and trade stories and tips with other hosts. We’ll also make sure you go beyond the winding paths of the park to see Paris through the eyes of artists, historians, and explorers. We’ll create opportunities for you to enjoy the hidden delights of the city, and give back to the local community.
When you go to the Airbnb Open website you’ll see photos that capture and celebrate the effort that goes into preparing a listing and welcoming guests. We thought about the everyday household objects that help you deliver unique and memorable experiences, and we realized they deserve a moment in the spotlight. The hands also tell the story of connection—the communication that happens between hosts and guests after you exchange messages or talk on the phone. It’s about the moment when your guest arrives, and they can finally shake your hand or give you a hug. That’s the moment when you don’t feel like strangers anymore. The hands in the photos actually belong to Airbnb team members in our Dublin office. We thought it was important to use our own hands in the shots, because at Airbnb Open, we’re taking on the role of being hosts. Register to be our guest today! We look forward to shaking your hand in Paris.
