We know the safety of your guests is your top priority while hosting an experience. Consider the tips below about how to keep your guests safe and make sure they have a great time.

Design for safety

When planning your experience, you should keep safety precautions top of mind. This includes educating yourself about any local rules and safety regulations in your city. Try thinking through the entire experience from start to finish. What safety equipment should be provided? What training do guests need before your experience begins?

Set detailed expectations

Informing your potential guests about exactly what to expect before they book goes a long way to making sure guests feel prepared and taken care of. You’ll want to use your experience page description to its fullest and be detailed about any necessary physical requirements or safety measures guests should take in advance.

It can help to put yourself in your guests’ shoes and think about what questions they might have. For example, is your activity particularly strenuous? Should guests come prepared with sun protection or wear hiking shoes? Should people with certain allergies take special precautions?

Get to know your guests in advance

You can take advantage of our secure on-platform messaging tool to get to know your guests ahead of time. Are there certain ways to tailor the experience to help ensure this group is as safe as possible? Is there extra equipment or supplies you should bring along?

The day before your experience, we highly recommend sending your guests a reminder message, including information about safety, through the app to make sure they come prepared.
