1. Nashville

America’s home of country music and a bustling local food scene—there’s a reason Nashville has been buzzing in travel top destination lists over the past few years. Bookings in this increasingly popular destination jumped 365% over last year.

2. New Orleans

Known for its great food and jazz, New Orleans isn’t just about Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest—it’s good fun all year. Interest in the Big Easy is up 340% for summer getaways this year.

3. Palm Springs

Up 334%, Palm Springs has transitioned from a winter escape to a year-round destination. Love the mid-century modern look? Palm Springs is loaded with great mid-century homes with pools and desert vistas.

4. Portland, Maine

Long a popular New England destination, travel to Portland is up 328 percent. Stay in a treehouse on Peaks Island, or choose from among the many historic homes in this seaside getaway.

5. Santa Barbara

Travelers are exploring a wider range of coastal locales on the west coast this year from Mendocino to Monterey and further south. Santa Barbara has long been a favorite escape for Californians, and this gem has risen 320% this year.

6. Oregon Coast

Sand-boarders, dune buggy enthusiasts, golfers, and anyone that enjoys endless jaw-dropping scenery will find a reason to love the Oregon coast, helping boost its popularity 316% this summer. Stay in the unique Tugboat House on the Columbia River, a Japanese forest house made from storm-blown cedar trees and milled on site, or beach houses up and down the hundreds of miles of dramatic coastline.

7. The Adirondacks

8. Denver

Beers, baseball, and Rocky Mountain backdrops—what’s not to like about Denver? Travelers agree. The Mile High City saw bookings rise 306%.

9. Coastal Orange County

Home of some of the most storied beaches in the States, the long stretches of sand and easy living boosted the OC’s coastal spots up 306%.

10. Boulder

Colorado snags a second spot on the list. At the base of the Rocky Mountains, sporty Boulder’s summer bookings are up 291 percent.
